Environmental day in Wadi Lahmi

HEPCA is offering a youth empowerment program for middle and high school students as part of our public awareness program to Educate,Encourage and Empower the next generations to protect the environment. students of the Egyptian american school in Cairo had a visit to the southern Red Sea where they joined a clean up in the mangrove area of Wadi Lahmi. in the evening,everyone participated in a lecture about the Red Sea biodiversity and ecosystems and HEPCA`s activities that includes mooring systems,coastal zone management,,sustainable fishing ,environmental tourism development and solid waste management. HEPCA would like to warmly thank all participants for their efforts and special thanks to Red Sea Diving Safari and WILD GUANABANA - Life Changing Journeys for their continuous support towards the protection of the Res Sea's natural resources
