HEPCA & Helwan University: Turning Commitment into Action!
HEPCA is proud to announce a successful collaboration with Helwan University’s Faculty of Physical Education for Men, where eight groups of passionate students, led by their esteemed professor Dr. Hassan El Zomor, took part in a series of underwater cleanup initiatives. This partnership is a shining example of how commitment to environmental conservation can be transformed into meaningful action.
Over the course of several weeks, these students engaged in intensive efforts to clean the Red Sea, removing debris and pollutants that threaten marine life. The cleanup activities were conducted at various dive sites, each chosen for its ecological significance. The students' enthusiasm was evident in every dive, as they not only participated in removing waste but also learned about the importance of maintaining a healthy marine ecosystem.
HEPCA provided the necessary resources, including specialized equipment and expert guidance, to ensure the success of these operations. The initiative also included educational sessions where students were taught about the delicate balance of marine ecosystems and the critical role they play in the broader environment.
The collaboration between HEPCA and Helwan University goes beyond just cleaning the sea; it represents a shared vision for a sustainable future. By empowering the next generation of environmental stewards, HEPCA and Helwan University are paving the way for long-term conservation efforts that will protect the Red Sea for years to come.
This initiative has not only brought immediate benefits to the marine environment but has also inspired others to join in the fight against pollution. The students' dedication serves as a reminder that everyone has a role to play in safeguarding our planet, and that with the right knowledge and tools, we can all make a difference.
