Mooring Team November Report

From the 26th of November till the 1st of December 2016, HEPCA's Mooring Unit visited the areas of Wadi El Gimal and North of Hurghada as part of the regular mooring maintenance plan conducted by HEPCA. The team inspected 79 moorings, maintained 37 moorings and installed 2 new. Following are the visited sites for Maintenance and installation: Gotta Sharm - maintenance 4 moorings Habili El Dahara - maintenance 2 mooring. El Dahara -maintenance 3 mooring. Ras Wadi Gimal Island - maintenance 1 mooring. Gotta Eshta- maintenance 2 mooring. Sheleniat - maintenance 4 mooring. Gotta Garden - maintenance 2 mooring Erg Marsa Alam- maintenance 1 moorings Gotta Mekki - maintenance 1 mooring. Umsk- maintenance 3 moorings + 2 moorings installation. Siyul Kebir- maintenance 2 moorings Siyul Sagheir- maintenance 2 moorings Shabrour Siyul - maintenance 2 moorings Um Gammar - maintenance 4 moorings. Shuab EL Erg- maintenance 4 moorings. Also the zoning line of Shuab EL Erg was maintained and fixed to mark the lagoon and protect the dolphins ,divers and snorkelers in this area .
